Q. Who takes the pictures and videos?
A. Camp Connect will train your staff to utilize the unique video functions of the Camp Connect App. While anyone with an Android or iOS device can take pictures or videos, in our experience, the best results occur when there is a designated photography staff.
Q.How do the staff know who they have and havent captured each day?
A. The Camp Connect App provides instant analytics to photographers. After a photograph or video has been taken of a camper, a green circle with a check mark appears next to their name. By the end of the day, photographers can easily scroll through the list of campers and see who has yet to be photographed. Camp administrators and photographers can also see the total number of pictures and videos taken of each camper, and even search by a specific date range.
Q.What happens if there are more that one camper in the picture or video?
A. Photographers can easily tag multiple campers in each photograph or video.
Q. How do photographers take pictures and videos through the App?
A. The Camp Connect App’s camera allows photographers to capture photographs and 15 second “burst” videos. Photographers are trained to tag campers in each photograph or video using the Apps tagging feature. The design of the Camp Connect App makes this unbelievable easy to do. Each photograph and video is then reviewed for quality and appropriateness. With the push of a button, the approved photographs and videos are sent to the tagged camper’s parents’ smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Q. What if grandparents and other family members want to see the pictures and videos?
A. There are no limits to the number of devices that parents’ accounts can be logged in to. This means that they are free to share their account details with anyone they’d like! Each device will receive and individual notification when new footage is available to be viewed!
Q. Can parents send anything back through the App?
A. Camp Connect is a “one-way” service. Parents cannot send messages back through the App.
Q. What happens if our roster changes before the summer starts?
A. Our team is available 24/7 to edit your account. We can add and remove campers with ease.
Q. How do parents register?
A. Camp Connect creates and programs the parents' accounts. Before the summer, Camp Connect sends parents an email with their username (their email address), a temporary password, and step-by-step insturctions to activate their account.
Q. How much does it cost our parents?
A. Camp Connect is completely free for parents even the save and share functions. Our team is always avalable to answer any parents' questions and offer techincal support free of charge!
